Cardinal Operating Company recently invited three local fire departments (Brilliant, Mingo, Tiltonsville), with 35+ firefighters in attendance, to the Cardinal Plant for on-site training that included live fire scenarios, special equipment operations, and specialized hazard review and response. 
 
A member of the Brilliant Fire Department said, “It’s great to get the opportunity to come into the plant for training. We get the chance to see different props, get more practice with our equipment, and learn about the different hazards within the plant.”
 
Coty Lee, Cardinal's Safety & Health Supervisor, said, “We’re honored to invite Brilliant, Mingo, and Tiltonsville Fire Departments into the plant for this training. If we have a large incident, these departments are the first in to help us out. They have the potential to face many different hazards here at the plant that they don’t typically see, so we want to give them the experience necessary to safely handle any situation. The training and support that AERT provides is crucial in helping the area fire depts. and Cardinal is very appreciative of that.”
