Cardinal Power Plant recently made a $1,000 donation to the Wells Township fire department to help with the purchase of a breathing apparatus.

"We try to help a lot of local agencies; we've given a lot to Wells Township and schools in the area, not just the fire department," said Bethany Schunn, Cardinal plant manager. "We try and keep it local. We have a lot of employees that live in the local area as well."
