The Cardinal Power Plant hosted tours for 30 members of the Ohio chapter of the Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) this week.

WiNUP provides a link for developing and recognizing professionals involved with utility business trends, issues, products, and services. WiNUP’s objectives are to promote professional development through networking and mentoring, as well as recognition and visibility among members.

Deb Hohn, 2019 Ohio WiNUP chapter chair, expressed her gratitude to Cardinal and OEC for hosting the tour.

“This experience was truly fascinating,” said Hohn. “Many, including myself, had never been to a power plant. This type of learning and knowledge of working in the utility industry should be a must for everyone.”
